I used to use them in my teens when I was on a youth training scheme for welding and fabrication, so was familiar with them. My dad was also a top welder when I was a very young child and I subconsciously remember him using them for his gas welding torches.

I've received two maple/ebony saddles, so will see what I have around the house or in my toolbox. If not, I'll have to get a couple of needle files. I'm sure I have/had some, but they possibly snapped some time ago.
