Any interest in a Houston area jam/get together this fall?

I'd be interested. I'm in the Beaumont area. A drive to Houston, maybe twice a month is fine for me.

Well that's three of us - a good start! I'll start looking for a venue.

Might be a bit simpler than the old jams (at least at first - I'm a horrible cook...lol), but I'm good with that for now.

I'm in the southwestern part of town, so any venue I find will likely be around Sugar Land (maybe Brazos Bend State Park if they allow this sort of thing). I'm cerainly game for other suggestions though!

Would love to see a good one in College Station area. Houston is just a bit too far from me but I might go to one there once just to meet some of you and to go to a true, open one with actually nice people. The ones I've seen here aren't very open.

I don't think it ever happened. Years ago one of the members (guitarman?) would organize a get together at Lake Houston, but guess he's not active in the forum anymore.
