If a classical guitar is set up properly, the action should not be very high. It will be higher than an acoustic or electric since the strings have a larger diameter, but exorbitantly higher.

Coming from both the classical world and metal world (another Yngwie fan), I like both the standard classical and the crossover models.

While I will agree that a wider fretboard allows for greater ease of playing individual melodic lines, I will argue that the flat fretboard is an archaic design that needs to be updated. Violins, Cellos, etc. all have curved fingerboards. Just so much as a 16" radius like that of a Jackson would make classical playing much more comfortable.

Kenny Hill, who makes very nice classical guitars, also designs for Cordoba, who make some crossover models.
