Leo Brouwer Nuovos Estudios Sencillos

Brouwer's Nuovos Estudios Sencillos (2001) is a continuation of his famous Estudios Sencillos that I've recorded previously on my youtube channel.

Brouwer writes in the preface of the work that these Nuovos Estudios Sencillos are for "beginners or children". However these studies can be developed to more virtuosic as the player progress. All the studies are homages to different composers. The first one is homage to Debussy with reminiscences to composer's La mer with wave-like dynamics.
