Default Latest Classical

Haven't posted one of these on the forum lately. I finished this one up Monday night. Some of you have already seen it, probably, on my facebook page. It's a Curly Padauk/WR Cedar, 650, with EIR bindings and arm rest.

Very nice. I especially like the pics of the back of the headstock and the bridge's tieblock. Congratulations on the build.

Great looking guitar! I'm intrigued by the built in armrest, does that sit over the soundboard, or is it tied into the top/body the way I'm used to seeing on steel string guitars? It's a great looking addition, to my eye!

It is glued to the binding and under cut over the top.

Thanks, all, for your comments!

Here you go. Finish is French polish with Royal-Lac, which is a moisture and alcohol resistant version of shellac. Similar in some ways to Hard Shellac.

I love that purfling, very intricate and fancy looking. I've been wanting to try Royal Lac for some time now. Do you pad it on just like traditional FP?
