Post YES!!!!!!!!!

I know this sounds stupid to the average civilian (non-guitar-nut)

But don't you JUST LOVE IT when you finally get a lick down!!!!! I have been messing with a piece for a few days and when I picked up my 612 this morning it just flowed like I had turned on a CD. I was like a little kid...I showed my lovely wife. She tried to share my enthusiasm...but the "so what?" was still visible. But heck, who cares...!! I am psyc'd!!! Don't you love it!!!??. And to think on Saturday I was sure it was impossible.....!!.

Like I said before--- just like golf...that sweet drive down the fairway on 18...always gets you comin back. Maybe, just maybe, I can do this.

I know what you mean Bob. I just get pumped when I learn a new song let alone a new lick! I've been working on Chuck Berry's lead lick on Jonny Be Good and I am getting close. My family doesn't understand the exhilaration, but it's fun when someone else does.

I like to record "before" and "after" pieces for my personal amusement. You can relive your glories over and over...

Cool

Usually when I run to show it to someone I can't play it again to save my life.
