Another Weissenborn original
Here's an original tune of mine. Just going for a peaceful vibe on my Weissenborn guitar. Please give a look/listen and let me know what you think. I welcome your comments

Both the guitar and the tune are elegant and beautiful. Well done.

Very nice. Do you do much in D? Most folks won't seem to go there for pretty sounding things.

Rob, this is great. Lovely tune and such a nice feel.
You're going to make me want a Weissenborn! (I'm supposed to be saving up for a mandolin) |

It's a very relaxing, sweet tune.

Thanks for the good feedback, I appreciate it!
Blue, all my Weissenborn stuff is in D tuning (DADF#AD). It works great for beautiful melodic stuff as well as bluesy tunes. |

I agree. But it seems like I'm the only one among the folks I play with who thinks so. They all use tunings that start with "C" and have numbers after it

You definitely nailed the "peaceful vibe" you were going for. I really enjoyed that, thanks for sharing Rob.

Blue,
Most of the Weissenborn players I know use D tuning pretty extensively for both bluesy and beautiful melodic tunes. Sounds like we hang out with different crowds... |
