Default Things that make you go hmmmm...

Is it just me or should Selsun Blue (a dandruff shampoo) be some other colour besides orange?

Phil

Funny, Australian slang for a red-haired person is 'Bluey'.

Why do you call redheads Bluey?
This is an example of a common tendency towards perverse sense of humor in Australian slang. Several sources attest to this. The nickname Blue for a redhead originated from the gold fields in the 1860s. ... I was told it is because the skin of redheads is so pale you can see their blue veins through their skin.

Maybe the Selsun people spun it around?

Better check that. We've got two different formulations (a 1% selenium sulfide 2-in-1 and the 2.5% selenium sulfide extra strength) and they're both orange. Why would a product marketed as Selsun BLUE be any other colour? Hmmm?

Phil

My dear wife used to buy al sorts of shampoos and conditioners for us - our hair is quite different so four products for us.

I developed some strange side effect to one particular shampoo and I decided to try a simple shampoo with no added chemicals .. Johnson's Baby shampoo.

Now that is all we both use. Never had such healthy hair and scalps.

I've been using Johnson's Baby Shampoo for years. Nothing beats it.

I use a purple shampoo that's supposed to make my gray look better. My finger nails look dirty now ;-)

To be honest, it wouldn't much surprise me to see that on the supermarket shelves.

Bamboo and Pink Peppercorn, Rare Orchid and Basil, Sandalwood and Ginger. Ok, maybe I made those up, but its not farfetched.
