Mackie 1202 VLZ3 to ZOOM H2
I'm going to record a live show off my Mackie board into my Zoom H2. Is the Mackies's RCA TAPE OUTPUT into the Zoom's LINE IN the best option?

It's taken some falls and not a single problem. Yes. That's probably your best option if your other OUT's are routed to the PA or elsewhere. You have a few choices. 1. Main outputs to Zoom 2. Tape outputs to Zoom 3. Headphone out to Zoom. 4. Alt outputs to Zoom 5. Control Room outputs to Zoom. #2 may be the best. But someone needs to watch the levels.

It is pretty dependable. I've been using this one for years, hundreds of shows. Thanks.
