Question Which capo do you use with your T5???

Hi everyone. I think I've heard of this issue before, but without the search, I'm just going to ask about it. I have a Kyser capo that I use with my 414. With my new T5, I've noticed that the capo pulls the strings out of tune. Which capo do any of you T5 players use? I'm guessing it's going to have to be adjustable to compensate for the electric strings...

Thanks!

I use the Kyser, and when I put it on, I keep pressure on the kneck side of the capo as I release the tension, so it grabs the strings last and straight. It works great. If i don't do that, it pulls it out of tune.

I play my T5 in a band along with several players using digital keyboards.

I notice some time ago that when I am using my kyser capo's that they pull the guitar out of tune (read sharp) in relation to the digital keyboards. I have experimented with placement of the capo, and it does not help that much, maybe a little if I put the right edge of the fret board side of the capo directly over the fret wire of the desired fret.

So I started using adjustable shubb capo's for certain songs.

I use both my Kyser and Shubb on the same fret for extra security and a more firm string stability.

I had the same problem with my T5. My Kyser is too tight and pulls the strings sharp, so I bought an adjustable Dunlop Victor capo.

I miss the ability to clamp my capo to the headstock, but it doesn't put my guitar out of tune.
