Question Takamine bridge replacement

Well, I took the step into the unknown. I removed the old bridge. There was a little collateral damage under the bridge where the pallet knife dug down a little, but no damage outside the bridge area on the top. I think this can all be repaired. I would like to know if the liquid Tightbond Hide Glue ready mix will be a good choice as opposed to the regular Tightbond wood glue. I know I sure do not want to try to go through all the cooking and mixing of the powered hide glue.
The new bridge I got from EBay is a perfect match, everythig lines up perfect. Guess I got lucky there.
Wish me luck.
