Default Mr. Beaumont, for instance.

There was a recent thread that asked for favorite You Tube performances. How about your fave You Tubes by forum members? This is one of mine, Mr. Beaumont, Jeffrey Matz. I love his videos because he plays so well that the music is absolutely beautiful to listen to. But also because his recordings include all the noise of living in a household. The kids are yelling, the alarms or timers are going off...and still Jeffrey manages to stay focused on the song!

If I could play What's it All About Alfie like that, it would be all I ever wanted from guitar. I've watched this video many times.

Hey, just saw this--thanks!

Maybe someday I'll do a "professional looking" YouTube channel. For now, it's a way of keeping an "audio diary" for myself...sometimes I think I've forgotten more songs than I know.

I need to get Alfie back in rotation.

Well Jeff, a more professional YT channel would be great, and I would tune in. But I'm serious when I say I love your current videos, warts and all. There is something about them. They're good quality recordings and they happen in real life, not a sound proof room and multiple takes to get them perfect. There's a guy playing guitar - playing guitar well- in the midst of mundane chaos. I find that inspiring.

Well, a sincere thanks to you! I'll keep at it...it keeps me sane.

There is no quiet in my house. Just varying degrees of loud.
