Ne me quitte pas - French and English
One from the great Jacques Brel.I always wanted to attempt singing one of his songs in French.Excuse the Aussie schoolboy French.Managed a couple of verses then did English.."If you go away".Rod McKuen's English lyrical interpretation.
Just put new d'addario Nickel Bronze on the J-45.Really like 'em! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVAY...ature=youtu.be |

Great song and very well sung and played. There's something about the song and you that just seem a natural fit. Perhaps that's why you were attracted to it. Music does stuff like that.

Thanks Pitar. Good observation. My singing and guitar skills are limited but I do tend to put emotion into whatever I play...so I guess I get attracted by those sort of songs a bit.
Glen most kind of you to comment. Cheers LW glad you like the song.I think the English language version by Rod McKuen was a minor hit in the '70's. |
