Default Harmonica holder as mic holder

Anyone ever adapted an around-the-neck harmonica holder to hold a mic for busking (or other) purposes? Sure would be better than lugging a mic stand around, and would allow some movement freedom when playing. Wouldn't need to go wireless, just tuck 6" of the mic cable into a pocket ( or use a Velcro strip on a belt loop) to keep the cable from getting in the way.

When I wear my harmonica holder with a harp in it the holder sometimes has a tendency to move a bit from side to side. Not a big deal with the harp. I've learned how to grab it with my mouth and move it back into position but that would be less than ideal with a mic somehow mounted in there.

I did a quick search and it looks like there are wired headset mics:

I think that would be less cumbersome.

Here is a video of the setup that NY used in the 70s. This clip is from the Rust Never Sleeps movie which had a big impact on me. If you go to the 3:20 mark in the song you get a decent view. Two mics mounted above harmonic used to pickup vocals and the harmonica. I don't think he uses this anymore. Most of his acoustics sets from the 90s and on were done sitting down.

I don't know much about the setup ... but I suspect they may be condenser mics.
