What's used market like like right now?
Hello,
I may need to sell some of my collection (acoustics and electrics) as well as some amps due to unemployment. I have not sold any stuff in a while. Can anyone tell me what the market is like right now. Some of you must have done some selling recently. rcase1957

Overall it is a weak market since there are many people like you needing the get some quick cash and not so many people rolling in the dough looking to spend it on "extras" like guitars.
Big name high quality such as your American Standard Telecaster or your Taylor 814 and GSRS would do okay if you offered them for a bargain but not a give-away. They price you are asking for your AS Tele sounds like it should sell okay if it is in perfect condition and hasn't been experimented on with aftermarket tinkering. Low end brands like your Carvin and your Kelly tend not to do very well and you may need to wind up offering them for bigger hits on what you paid for them.
