Default Cleaning off scratchplate glue residue

Hey,

I've taken off one of those clear plastic sheet type scratchplates from my acoustic. It doesn't get strummed so no harm done. I noticed a small tshirt tan developing between the colour of the top and underneath the scratchplate so off with it for a more even colouring/ageing process .

What can I use to remove the remaining glue residue? Bare in mind I'm in the EU.

Thanks in advance

Use Napthia or Lighter fluid. It will clean the guitar great.
