Default Horizontal wall hangers

I tried a search and couldn't find a thread on horizontal wall hangers. That kinda surprised me.

So here it goes.

I've seen the type that string swings offer but they look huge. I need my big old dread as close to the wall as possible. I found a product called axehold.

http://cmwprod22.tripod.com/id13.html

It looks like exactly what I want but I thought that I would get some other ideas from the fount of knowledge that is the AGF. So what do y'all use or recommend?

TIA

A little bump for more info....

The Axehold acoustic hangers utilize the strap buttons to hang the guitar. They have different models depending on where strap buttons are placed on different instruments. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks.

I have no experience with them as I prefer vertical hangers, but the lack of neck support with the Axehold hangers and awkward process of using the strap pins would prevent me from considering them.

I assumed that the strap pins would be designed to support the weight of the guitar. Is this not true in the long run? This guitar will not get played much if at all, so once I get it place I shouldn't half to fiddle with it. So the awkwardness shouldn't be an issue.

Make sense?

The strap pins should be able to support the weight of the guitar with no issue. But there's no support for the neck, which could be an issue over time.

However, if the guitars are just being hung on a wall for decoration, I don't guess it would matter. In that case, I'd just cut keyhole slots in the backs and hang them up like a picture frame with a couple of screws.

I want the guitar to remain playable as a back up if needed so I think that I will give this a try and put a nail in the wall to support the neck.
Thanks for taking the time to help. Its really appreciated.
