Stomping beat sound live
Are there any shoes or anything else I can use to get a stomping beat sound live? What I mean by this is the kind of foot tapping you hear in songs like Blackbird or Dance Tonight.
Generally I'm playing outdoor gigs with concert or asphalt floors. Last edited by Axelorox; 02-08-2019 at 01:07 PM. |

I would use a normal Stompbox. There should be some out there which allow you to use your own samples.
The cheap way is a pencil taped to your shoe and put a mic on the wooden floor , asphalt might not work that well. |

I use a prolog by logjam. The idea is to roll off all the treble at the mixer so it sounds like a kick drum as a result. I suppose you could leave some treble on to get the sound you desire.
