The round metal thing is a LED lamp, which lights up the board so I can see all the setting details. It really helps a lot to dial in a great sound.

The Marshall pedals not only look great they sound awesome...they truly are gems. I just got the Blues Breaker today and that is already my favorite !!!

Don't kid yourself it's over. Something new will come along. Here's my custom touring pedal board from 1977 that had its own road case:

Left to right: repackaged Electro-Harmonix LPB-2 preamp, E-H Small Stone phaser, power supply for Small Stone with switch, remotes for Echoplex with multi-way cable

A few months later I switched to a MXR Micro Amp preamp (which couldn't fit) and swore I'd never consider a pedal board static or finished again. I've sort of kept the board and road case as a monument to my stupidity.

Well Bob you're not kidding....you were right...I just decided to upgrade my delay and compressor pedals to the Marshall Echohead and Edward. The Blues Breaker pedal sounded soooo good I decided I wanted the other Marshall pedals also...2000ms delay sounds great to me.....that's what the Echohead delivers....these guys are gems and not that easy to find, so I decided to get them while I can.

We might have to call you Pedal Maniac now.

Looks like a cool set up.

Bob - I like the vibe your old set up has.

Now comes the fun part...tweaking knobs to get certain sounds....what's really cool about this board is that I have so many options on what to do with my music. If I want a nice clean sound, no problem I can get it easily, distortion ?? no problem, sustain, no problem, reverb ?? no problem, I can add a boost or play dead quiet and still get the effects....it sounds great at low or high volume....plenty of lush tone....I just did short session by laying down a blues loop and did lots of tweaking to check out my reverbs....having the looper allows me to do this, and I can tweak all night if I want with just one loop. I can add or take away distortion, adjust tone, try out different reverbs, choruses...this board is a music producer's dream. Being able to play at low volumes allows me to work into the wee hours of the night without disturbing the neighbors. Get something I want to record ?? Just plug in two mics and record stereo into Cakewalk, no problem, can be set up in about two-three minutes. Ya this board rocks.

Wow, looks fantastic. I've seen a couple of pics in the past few months with those half moon style pedal boards with the peg holes. What brand is it?

They call it the Holey Board, made by Chemistry Design Works...they are now offering them made out of aluminum too. Here's a link...you can also find them at reverb.com.....https://www.chemistrydesignwerks.com/holeyboards/

The purpose of the holes is to allow connecting pedals to the board using plastic tie wraps. I tried this but want to be able to relocate my pedals easily and went with 2" wide Velcro instead. I like the Velcro better.

2" wide industrial strength velcro is what I used also, Except for some reason I thought I would only actually want 4 Pedals 2 FX , a Looper and Tuner which so far is working for me so I got the 2" by 4" individual velcro strips.
But I see that doing the continuous strips that you did you can accommodate changing out the pedals and work for pedals might be of different widths . Which if I get any more pedals I will have to switch to because .... not doubt PAS can be infectious as GAS
Here is my minimalist approach with the velcro hidden directly under the pedals

Holey Board, thanks. I've checked out their website before (and just looked again). Nice stuff.
