Default Fiddle players? Discussion place?

Wondering if there are any fiddle players on here? I'm a long time guitar player and recent fiddle player. I used the world fiddle as I'm interested in folk/bluegrass styles rather than classical. I'm wondering if there are any dedicated fiddle forums?

I did find and join Fiddle Forum (http://www.fiddleforum.com) but there isn't really much traffic.

I'm a member of both fiddle hangout and fiddle forum. Both forae are pretty slow - meaning days can go by with no new posts, you can post frequently and get zero response, etc. I find some of the best fiddle discussions are on mandolincafe. I'm biased, I know, but of all the Airstream, Harley, DIY, guitar, fiddle, etc. forae that I read/contribute to MC is the best.

I've played fiddle since '74 and am fluent in various NA fiddle styles, Scottish, Irish and Scandinavian/Finnish. I've been a judge at several national fiddle contests in the US and accompanied a couple of national champions on guitar. I love Canadian fiddling and find PK to be a great example and wonderful teacher: https://www.pattikusturok.com Also see here (taken from PK's site): https://www.fiddlevideo.com/down-the...fiddle-lesson/

What else would you like to know?

Speaking of the other sites, I was among the first to sign onto the fdl hangout when the BHO folks started that a decade ago, but I haven't visited in about a decade either! Not much there for me, nor FF. I started the fiddle group on the mandolin cafe, but that has since slowed to nil over the past couple of years... https://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/g...hp?groupid=109

The most frequent fdl discussion is far and away on The Session, but of course it's all ITM and related.
