Default Any Blue Hummingbird owners?

Been very curious about this as I love their other offerings......have one on the way soon with prices down from their "buy one - get one" sale.

So, who has one, whaddya think??

I haven't tried one but I've read enough reviews and comments about them to say that if I was looking for a pair of SDC mics at that price point, I could see myself rolling the dice on the Hummingbird.

I've owned several of their mics in the sub 400.00 range and was quite impressed with every one. It seems the swivel head would be quite handy when switching between instruments with different tonal characteristics.

I own a Kiwi (an 87-ish mic) and a Woodpecker. Both are very good microphones but not on the lower end. I gifted a Baby Bottle to a friend some years back and he still loves that mic. The Baby Bottle is a $400 mic and a good value at that price.

Bottom line: Blue is a good company and they make good microphones, imo.
