Beautiful tone and melody, Phil. You come up with the nicest blend of both each and every time! Thanks for sharing!

Ah Phil, I wake up and have my quiet morning time with you today and it is so beautiful...ya see my friend your writing style is my favorite with tenderly played melodies that warm the heart and remain singing in my mind. I really love this and so wish I had your music all collected on a CD. Your guitar tone is always lovely bro and your sense of pause & timing add so much.

Well done brother, well done...

I'm with Eric. Your beautifully crafted and wonderfully played songs are a joy to behold Phil. I find myself listening again and again to your melodic little treasures. "The First Summer" is already in heavy rotation on my playlist. Love it!

Absolutely beautiful Phil. Easily one of the best (if not the best) composition I have ever heard on this forum.

Phil, that was a very sweet melody played with deep emotion. Ditto to everything that has been already said! I like your grasp of musical connections. I'll play this one several times...just to appreciate it on this beautiful Thursday dawn with coffee in hand. Awesome sensitive touch my friend!

Phil, Superb writing and playing. Very relaxing, reminded of summer days as a youngster.

Phil, that was lovely! I didn't hear one unnecessary note (or indeed one that should have been inserted) - the mark of a great piece!
I have a similar recording setup - Zoom direct into Windows MM, then I clean it up a bit with Audacity. Seems to work great!
I will be looking for your posts in the future!
