I love strats, but, have large hands. The Taylor neck carve and nut width don't cramp up my fingers when playing at speed, and, my hand relaxes,Also, I play lots of fingerstyle, and don't have to change playing style between the Acoustic and Electric. Hence, standard thin Warmoth, with 1 3/4 nut.

Interesting and does that work well for you. Does changing the neck change the sound very much?

Yes. The tone got more mids and lows added to the Strat sparkle, the strings obviously got a bit wider spacing and now sit directly over all 18 pole pieces, which made the guitar as a whole, louder. I'd be hard pressed to find another like it.

Nope. Just more Strat. Sparkle and woodiness. Not thick like LPs, just more.IDK how to describe it. All I know is, after 30 years, I finally have my Strat.

That's really cool. I had one of my strats rewired ,so that in a particular setting, I can select both bridge and neck pup together. Sounds really good.!
