NND....Roasted Maple content....
Wow. I now have a Strat that has, besides the frets(6150) an identical feel to my Taylor 414ce.
1 3/4 nut width, standard thin carve, 10"-16" radius, Roasted maple on Roasted maple, graphtech nut, and Gotohs...no finish needed, so none on it, raw wood goodness....

Congrats on your new n... day! (whatever the N stands for...).
Nice Strat, I bet she plays as good as she looks!

It's come in! Congrats. It looks great. Sounds like it's the perfect neck for you.
I have no problem going from 1 11/16" to 1 3/4" neck on acoustics but I once played a 1 3/4" electric and it was alien to me and didn't fit my style at all (i.e. Iron Maiden). I take it that you're a 1 3/4" acoustic player as well? |

I've just seen your other thread and realised what you were waiting for!
Now I'm lusting after something similar - though to be fair I am very happy with the necks on all my Fenders and my G&L. Maybe the next step is to build one from scratch, though I may be tempted to get a Warmoth body for my Classic 60s Tele...

Man that's a flat neck, should be good for shred too.
I just played a Gibson Les Paul Honey Burst and fell in love with the flat, tapered, shred neck. It's my next purchase. Love some roasted maple.

It's really flat past the 12th Fret, goes from 10" to 16" radius. That's the only difference between the Taylor neck and this. And even with EB 'not even slinky' 12s on it, its so easy to play. They say they're optimal for detuning.... Ha! I say they're optimal for super low action and robust signal. at A440.
