Come on Boston, at least win 1. Don't get swept two years in a row.

Agreed. Stretch the agony out. Sorry, Dru. This year's team has a fork in them.

Rejoice, however, in Girardi's lack of competence. If the Sox can't win, at least we can enjoy the Yank's defeat.

Cleveland looks great to me. Well managed, too. Gee, I wish the Sox could find such a fine manager. But they'd probably fire him to pick up someone like Bobby V. [emoji38]

That's what they said years ago when the Sox were down 3 games against the Yanks.
Look what happened then, we won 4 in a row, and went on to win the World Series.

As a lifelong Sox fan, I'm hoping they get eliminated today. Let's get on with the Houston/Cleveland series. That's going to be fun.

2 straight 3 and done playoff appearances should be enough to spell the end of Farrell's tenure. And, the Sox had a good replacement on the bench last year;Tory Lovullo. Now that he's gone, I'm thinking someone like Alex Cora would be a great fit.

1pm EST game time for the Red Sox/Astros. Porcello is pitching and that worries me. Price is pitching well out of the bullpen though but not sure he can come in today's game?

Both Sale and Verlander have come into the game in relief. Boston ahead 3-2 in the 7th ... and the game isn't on tv here. Argh.

Sorry to say, it was on here.

Sale gave 'em 4 scoreless, but Sox got greedy and tried for 5. Dumb.

Better luck next year.

I was watching the scores flicker on my web browser. Can't believe how terrible the Sox starting pitching was this series.

Rooting for Cleveland to beat the Yankees.

Cubs need to wrap it up today...going back to Washington would be bad for whoever wins, giving LA a rest...

Hey, I wonder if the admin can change your name to Murphy Sbleachers for the playoffs?

And now 8-4 Cubs, but a whole lot of baseball left to play.
