Any questions PLEASE EMAIL nedelab at gmail dot com I may not get PM's. FOLEY DEEP OM E.A. "Ed" Foley has built 100s of guitars. *The endorsements for him have included Stefan Grossman, Red Volkerdt, Ray Benson, Bill Monroe, George Strait, John Pearse, and many more celebrities. *His guitars are considered "the session player's secret weapon" in Nashville. *Go to his website and read the dozens of accolades bestowed on Ed and his guitars. *"It's all about TONE" Ed has said on numerous occasions. *He nails it in his builds. *Amazing sound and super craftsmanship, *as well as top of line materials. For sale here is a custom that Ed made for me about 5 years ago. *I have treated it very kindly. *A very tiny seam separation on the top was re-glued by Elderly Instrument's fine shop. *There are no cracks, scratches (other than some pic marks) anywhere. * It sport Brazilian Rosewood back & sides; an Alpine spruce top that resembles Red Spruce in appearance and sound; Waverly tuners; pyramid bridge; bone nut & saddle; 1 13/16" nut; 2 5/16" at the saddle; ebony fretboard & bridge; herringbone trim w/aged ivory binding; beautiful inlays; and "The Skull"- Ed's moniker on the headstock.Plus a custom Ameritage case embossed with the "Foley" name. *A $600 option when I bought it. *Nice thing about this model is it has the clearness and playability of an OM and it's "dread-depth" (nearly 5") gives the presence of dreadnought. *Can kill banjoes or sound sweet & pretty when finger-picked. *It's also the same body that Stefan Grossman chose and this one was built right after his.The guitar is available $4200 plus shipping, insurance and pay fees if used. *Lower 48 only. *Cannot shipped out of US. more pics Here Last edited by willysunday; 11-22-2017 at 09:50 AM. |

In your previous thread about the Foley you said it was 2-5/16" at the saddle; here you said 1-1/4" (I presume you mean 2-1/4"). Which is it? 2-5/16" or 2-1/4"?
Thanks! |
