Wonderful design. Wood or shell?
The back is calling to me too.

Different color woods. Christie saw cigarfan’s guitar and loved it, so we’re following the same formula down a slightly different design scheme.

Well although I am loving my OO, I wish my Spanish Cedar looked like that!!! Learn something all the time, must be quite a variation in grain, mine is relatively non-figured at all, more like Mahogany, this stuff has a crazy beautiful grain pattern. I like the inlays as well, that 12th fret reminds me of some things also.

Tom, this is a pretty spectacular piece of Spanish Cedar though we have found some pretty cool figures in it over the years.

Continuing on with back braces.

Then I need to build the arm bevel block before putting the sides in the mold.

And at the same time, I get to do my favorite luthier work: coloring.

Thanks for following. Don’t forget to check out our super AGF sale going on in the Marketplace: Kinnaird Post-Woodstock Pre-Holiday Sale.
