Default Songs you can sing while playing??

What are some songs would be good/relatively doable to learn to sign along with for an intermediate player?

Paint it Black - Rolling Stones
Heart of Gold - Neil Young
Happy Xmas - John Lennon
Promises - Eric Clapton
Layla (Acoustic) - Eric Clapton
Wild Horses - Rolling Stones
Thank You - Led Zeppelin
Angie - Rolling Stones
She Talks to Angels -- Black Crowes
Wonderwall -- Oasis
Wake me up when September Ends -- Green Day
21 Guns -- Green Day
Free Fallin -- Tom Petty

Any suggestions?????

I find A Horse With No Name quite easy to sing to.

Hey, Hey – Broonzy, Clapton
Lay Down Sally - Clapton
Waltz Across Texas – Ernest Tubb
Hey There Delilah – Plain White T’s

I've decided that getting the strumming right while attempting to sing Southern Cross by Crosby Stills and Nash is one of the hardest attempts at coordination ever. It's a simple pattern, but the words don't come easy while strumming.

I found Wish You Were Here hard to sing with, strumming correctly. There's a line in that last verse that threw me for weeks. Few songs give me problems doing both at once, but that one did.

You know what? When I learned it 20 years ago (when I was just starting to play/sing at the same time), it also gave me issues.

Hi I only play the opening two verses then that cool acoustic bit with no words thats all as I think when you learn a verse its the same regardless of the words, is that right musically speaking? it must be are the words tricky on last part??
