Hey guys, yes, the cosmo black tuners will be used on this guitar, they do look awesome just didn't have them when I took the pics.....I think I took a few pics of the cosmo tuners, I'll see if I can find them and post a pic.

Also thanks for the kind words, they are all appreciated!

Cheers,
Greg

Is cosmo black the same as black chrome?

I think they are the same, because Greg only found the cosmo chrome in his supplier's offering, and they also look like black chrome. But maybe someone else knows more...

Also, I attach another picture where you can see the soundport with its green purfling. We decided to move the soundport up towards the waist a little, and only go with one.

Joe White sent a few pictures to Greg when he put on the filler. It looks so fabulous, and the stripey sinker redwood is amazing. Haven't figured out how to download and post the pics that are part of an e-mail message, because that's how Joe sent them.

On the Olson: I read here and elsewhere that a cedar top doesn't open up. Not true on my Olson. The sound was amazing at the outset, but now it is unbelievable. There are a few notes that ring forever, truly magic. I had a friend over the other day and he asked why barre chords sound so good on this guitar. I don't know either but it is a fact that fretted notes ring on this guitar however far up the neck you are.

Just a reminder

Hey Karl,

You should be able to right click on the embedded picture and then save the image to your PC, most likely as a JPEG file.

Didn't work, Hen, but Greg sent me the files over. So here we go. Joe's pics are always a bit greenish, but that fits the purfling :

Also, I sent over the Miniflex Mic over to Greg for installation, am really curious to see how it works, read lots of reviews of Mic pickups and picked the Miniflex for being the least invasive.

Joe White sent over photos with the finish coat on. You really can't tell a difference to the filler photos (except the light is not greenish), but now that I have them...

The look of the sinker top really amazes me. It is EXACTLY the way I wanted to have it. Thanks Greg for finding this fabulous piece.

Strange how difficult it all of a sudden gets to wait when you know its close. I ordered the guitar 2 years ago, and all of a sudden I can't wait any longer.

What a beautiful guitar! I love the dark colors mixed with the green purfling. Great work, Karl and Greg!

Beautiful guitar Greg! Love the elevated fingerboard. Do you have to make the bridge taller than normal to use the elevated fb?
