Default New Roland AD-2

https://www.boss.info/us/products/ad-2/

Looks like a competitor for the TC BodyRez that adds reverb, a notch filter, and battery operation. I can't find any availability date anywhere. The Boss video does not add much value to the feature list. Looking forward to someone trying one in-person and posting a review.

I thought the same thing about the Body rez. However, I like the Boss silent switch and size. I'm not much on mini pedals.

I assume the Boss AD-2 is battery powered. That would be a plus as well. I also like the extra balanced TRS output which lets it function like a direct box (albeit with a TRS to XLR cable).

I'm also looking at Xvive Mike which sounds very good in the YouTube demos.

A better video, but no quick A-B of bypass vs. a reasonable setting for the pedal. Battery operation is used throughout the video.

That is a really nice demo! The pedal looks really good. I just wish it included an output volume knob.

I just got mine today. It sounds really awesome on my Fender nylon stringed guitar!

I've had one for a few weeks. The reverb is good. The notch filter is a little wider than I'm used to and is more impactful to tone than some others. I only tried it out at home and it did stop the feedback I was forcing. The acoustic resonance seems best in small doses to my ear. The only exception is with headphones and my Traveler Escape Mark III (solid body with a Shadow UST), where the 50% setting helps quite a bit. It is not good enough for me to bother to add to my gig bag (something else would have to go at this point) but I do plan to keep it.

I'm actually liking it quite a lot with the LR Baggs M-80 pickup as well. It smooths out the sound considerably and the notch filter is about right for fixing that overly resonant 200 Hz that that pickup has.
