How to increase a guitar's treble response?

I didnt' read all the replies, but based on the original question my immediate thought is you need to try heavier strings. 10s are sometimes called ultra light. 11s are even lighter than lights, which are 12s. So I'd recommend trying 11s or 12s in PBs or monels. I best you'd get more over everything, sonically.
