Looking forward to your glamor photos, as your photography skills are right up there with your lutherie chops. Thank you for taking us on this fascinating tour!

Thanks! I still remember sitting in my buddy Sergei de Jonge's shop late at night with a beer, a box of cookies, a pad and pen ... and just sketching out bridge designs into the wee hours of the morning, with my ipod on "shuffle". Good times!
It's amazing how difficult it is to come up with a shape and profile that pleases your eye and satisfies the physical requirements of a guitar bridge!

The guitar is gorgeous but that's the most bizarre guitar stand I've ever seen!

HA ... good one! I bought that "airplane ashtray" at the little antique store next to the Larrivee workshop in 1974 and every once in a while I find a way to include it in a photo. There's a little light that turns on in the airplane part, and according to the sales person, when it heats up enough, hot air comes out two apertures and turns the propellers! Since I've had it the propellers are so rusty that a gale force wind wouldn't turn them ... but it's a nice story.

Last two. Sorry, but the gent who commissioned the guitar picked it up before I could record an audio sample.

Thanks for taking the time to view this thread everyone! I've got a couple more in the works, so if I get the time, I'll maybe start another build-thread!
