It is too much like watching a drug addict or an alcoholic destroy their lives...it is their life, and they are entitled to use their time and health in any way they wish. But I am not obliged to watch it. And the fact that it can be entertaining and "fun" at turns does not obviate the bigger picture. YMMV.
Good grief....I hope guitar playing brings you at least a little joy in your life.

While I enjoy football and watching the Oregon Ducks in particular...
The beginning of the season always saddens me as it means the passing of another summer.
Yes, summer is by far my favorite season.

How can you not like a sport that on opening day has a game with national implications, and every week has meaning?

Oh, Dru!

Buckeye supporters say these things in August when it's going to be a bad season in Columbus. By the way, has your quarterback met Rashan Gary? They'll be real good buddies come November 25.

Go Blue!

I agree, that game was fixed. The perfect scenario seemingly unfolded for the Pats once again. Atlanta just somehow forgot they were playing football.

Additionally, the fact the owners have been ordered to not sign Colin Kaepernick is beyond me. I mean, Jay Cutler got signed out of retirement before Colin. And we all know Colin is a better QB.

Seems people behind the scenes pull strings and control outcomes to meet certain objectives.

Used to watch NFL alot, but not so much anymore. I would rather watch basketball.

Yes, I'm ready for fall in general. I'm a Clemson fan, so I'll be watching and holding my breath during every game. I have my seventh KISS Kruise in November and a new puppy coming in September (my 13 year old Yorkie passed a few months ago). So my house needs some happiness and I'm looking forward to cooler weather.
