Nicely done, Mau.
Thanks, Jeremy.

As is often the case with my YouTube recordings, I wish I had taken the time to come up with a version that I was really satisfied with -- but impatience and lack of time got the better of me...

How nice to see you on the forum again with some new music!

Oh, and as Jeremy noted, I don't see or hear any rust in this video.

Thank you, Glenn -- but trust me all I can hear are the glitches... Sigh...

Lately I've been sidetracked by work, a new car (I'm always out and about) and my electric guitars -- but hopefully I will soon write some new material on acoustic. I needed to find some new inspiration anyway...

Thank you... I played it slower than "young Chet" but faster than "old Chet"...

So beautiful! Now that's real guitar playing right there. Excellent!

Merci Johan.

I don't get many opportunities to show off the D-28 so I figured I'd take it for a spin on this old classic.

I stuck with Chet's arrangement as coming up with my own would've been suicidal...

Very kind of you to stop by, Roger.

To be honest, this tune took me a bit out of my comfort zone -- but I'm glad I learned it.

Chet didn't always use the same chords either, played at different tempos and varying accents. And like you I often change it up, sometimes on the fly (which sometimes I regret) depending upon what mood I'm in.
Thanks so much.

That's a very good analysis of yours. Sounds like we both spent a lot of time listening to Chet's versions...

Thanks for posting...Your playing is a bright light despite your dark recording presentation.
One day I will record a video in a park or something...

Thanks so much for posting. I haven't been busy for negative reasons -- at least not yet...

Many thanks, Fred.

Don't be too patient with your releases, Mau. I will gladly take your 'rusty' playing over radio silence any day of the week Very nicely done.

Thank you for listening!

I've never thought of myself as a "real guitar player" -- but hopefully one day I will!

Thank you, Jeff!

When I was a "serious" music student, I learned about 10 pieces a year. Nowadays, it would have to be way less...

And that's why you're great! Those on here who usually consider themselves guitar players, I have no use for. They usually suck or over play and even play the song incorrectly. You interpret in a beautiful way.
