B-Band A2.2-no box-$60 each
I have sold all of the no-box systems but have 10 sets in a box for $100 with shipping in the US. This price is only good for my current stock.
Here was the original text: "We purchased about 120 or so of these systems direct from B-Band for installation in a builder's custom guitars. We only used about half of them. These are new but no box. $60 each with shipping. I have about 30 left. This is my favorite system. They are not quacky and have a volume and mix control. There are two pickups in the system. One is undersaddle and the other is interior bridge plate. It's the most transparent system I've ever used and it works well with various acoustic pedals and effects. They are slightly over $120 at M-n-F--d. Who wants to pay $60 for the box!"

A question came up about the width of the UST under saddle transducer. These are for the 1/8" or wide saddle.

B-Band is a top pickup system. The pickups are super thin and the tone is very transparent to let the guitar sound through. Not quacky like some and not boomy like others.

These pickups are great, just installed one in my J-100 which always gave me balance problems with other pickups, and the tone I'm getting sounds totally natural. At $60 they are a BARGAIN!!! Here's a little demo of that guitar with the B-Band through a Fishman Loudbox Performer recorded with my iphone sitting on the kitchen table.

All of the B-Band A2.2 systems are gone without the box. I do have 10 more B-Band A2.2 systems with the wide (1/8" saddle width) UST and AST in the box. They are new and complete. $100 each with shipping include in the US. No more at this price when my current stock is gone.

I did a little review of this pickup and for anybody interested check it out...
http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=339999 I now have one of these in 3 different guitars, and each guitars individual personality comes out with this pickup. I have been installing the AST behind the bridge pins as I think that helps the overall tone, and feedback resistance of ASTs in general. I put the treble side slightly closer to the bridge pins. Here's a picture of the AST (soundboard pickup) attached to the rear of the bridge plate, and you can see the UST (undersaddle pickup) going into the bridgeplate through to under the saddle. Notice it's more like a metal band than a wire, hence the name. Here's the preamp which crosses over the pickups to their respective good frequencies and outputs the signal in mono. You can see the gain pots clearly. |
