Default Thoughts on this guitar?

Hey guys, I'm a Yamaha nut, and I saw this on craiglist.
Was hoping I could get your thoughts?!
I'm new to the nylon world, but I do like old stuff.

Thanks for looking!!

Don't like to be automatically negative, but $300 sounds like a lot for a guitar with a spruce top that's 34 years old-

be very careful of neck bend and high action- there's no truss rod to compensate for a bowed neck on an older guitar-

Other than that Yamaha has always had a good reputation for lower end and student guitars- but thgis one seems a lot of money for one that old.

I read up what I could, and I'm reading that back in the day this was their second most expensive classical...
Like I said, I'm a die hard Yamaha guy, but I'm fairly new to understanding tonal quality.
I think I may keep looking...
thanks for the thoughts!

If it's easy to get to, it doesn't cost you anything to play it, right?

Hi:
I had played a Yamaha G130A MIJ. It was great guitar (long scale), sounded wonderful. Compared with G250S, the G250s is even better. It is just IMO.

Cool Thoughts on this guitar?

While it's not possible to make a decision with just one photo, for a '80 Yamaha G250S in excellent condition, it seems like a fair price. If the condition is less than excellent, it would be worth less, depending on what defects are present. If you check it out and like the way it sounds and the finish is in good shape (no surface checking) it could be a bargain. I've seen a few G250S that are selling for more, but in pristine condition. I hope that helps.
