So great. I love the way the hand moves toward the neck for that more woody tone. Not a classical guy but really enjoyed the work. Wish I could play that way.

Excellent tone. I wish I could achieve this tone with my thumb, without the use of a thumbpick. Its just tough to "re-learn" everything I know using a different hand position.

I love the tone of this old Torres! I'm sure you have seen this one, Paikon.? Amazing amazing amazing.

Cool The best guitar tone

Beautiful music, beautiful guitar, and impeccable tone! No complaints here! I checked a few of Claudio Tumeo's other videos, and those were also fabulous. I'm sure that an Andrea Tacchi classical guitar is out of my price range, but I'm going to start looking anyway. Maybe used?

Paikon,

Thank you for posting that link. It was beautiful. And…

Fngrstyl,

Thanks to you too. York's playing was excellent but I'm more impressed by the sound of that 126 year old guitar. Wow!

Dave

Your welcome. There are a few more of him playing that guitar. Check them out at GSI youtube!! "Mechanism" is mind blowing!

Very nice Paikon. Thanks for the link. Amazing how mellow the trebles were that close to the bridge. Of course good technique, good nails. Looked up the guitar - (twenty thousand dollar range).

Thanks for sharing it. Simply wonderful, not just tone (which is great), but the transcription and playing too - brilliant technique along with thoughtful dynamics and phrasing. Love it, really.
