Default WTB: Takamine Ean or Alvarez dy

I'm looking for a reasonably priced Takamine or Alvarez DY. Preferably an EAN or EF series, maybe a santa fe (for Takamine). I'd also be interested in an Alvarez DY62c. I like cedar tops but that's not a dealbreaker. This would be a gigging guitar so cosmetic bumps and bruises are fine. Just nothing crazy and no crazy fretwear. Needs to have electronics. Let me know what you've got!

thanks

Phil

Bought a brand new TNV360SC about 6-8 months ago. Has about 15-30 minutes of play on it. Look it up on the takamine manufacturers site for all the specs and description. Basically, a right hand dred, professional series, hand made, beautiful bearclaw spruce over EIR, top solid woods, cutaway with cool tube electronics. $1795 shipped with original Takamine hardcase from Texas. Not advertised, but your ad caught my eye, and I just have not played it. It has bling...lots of bling. Gorgeous. Action from out of the box is medium low...a breeze to play. 1 3/4" performance neck...not a V, not chunky. If interested I am luckycanine on the AGF, and have over the years, done a lot of trades, buys and sells. References readily available. If really interested I will take and send you some pics...give me your email address. Thanks, Wally

Cool

There is a Takamine user group forum. They have a buy/sell section in which you might publish.

Also for Alvarez, there is a Yairi user group on Yahoo.

Good luck finding THE GUITAR for you.

You might look on nobetterdeal.com...they have guitars that are "open box"...great prices...

Go to the "everything else" drop down menu and select musical instruments...they get stuff in all the time...

I have an EAN10CX that has been picked hard but is in great structural condition. It's got electronics and would come with a GC hardshell case. It's open and sounds great. PM me if you're interested.

I have an EAN 10C that was a warranty replacement from Takamine.
I hated it at first but after a few years it has finally gotten it's "tone."
It's tone is kinda mellow with balls if that makes sense. The only reason I kept it was the fact that it is still the best player I've ever owned and I've owned hundreds of guitars over my lifetime. She just needed time open up.
