Question Looking for a luthier...

I have a handmade Willy Dreier Classical '68 which needs some serious neck and possibly bridge work. I'm looking for a top notch man to do the work.
Anyone ?

Send it to Elderlys.......it will get the best care possible.

Bern,

If you're into shipping, then I recommend my local super-tech, Dennis Berck.

He has clients from all over the world, and he always has a good number of very old/vintage instruments (of various builds) for repair, refurbishing, and full-restoration.

I trust him with my most dear and precious instruments, and his attention to detail (and therefore the inevitable result) is flawless.

Email me if you would like his contact info...

That's very kind of you, Larry !
Yeah, the shipping is always a concern...the guitar is very dear to my heart, seriously.
I will try first to have it looked at by Howard Emerson's friend well known local guitar maker, John Monteleone. If he will do the repair, because he usually does not do repairs, I probably have him do the work because he located in my area. If not, I will contact you, Larry. Thanks again !

I have been doing building and repairs, and have worked on many high end nylon string guitars, newer and vintage (Pedro Maldonado, Esteso, Conde Hermanos, Sanchis, Shelton-Farretta, R. Hachez and many others). I've done everything from basic set-up, to heavy surgeries, which included structural restoration and re-finishing or partial finish touch-up. It will involve shipping, and if you find someone locally, that much better.
