What a princess! Gorgeous piece of art! One of the big reasons is that Sunburst... Is this the 2018 model?

The bottom photo doesn't do it justice. The top photo, close up, is accurate to the color. It really is a great looking box. I have to say that it plays and sounds as good as it looks too.

I think that from a logical standpoint, the OM-28 is the clear winner. However, something about the shorter scale and softer tone of the 000-28 draws me in every time. I love my 000-28, and as long as the braces are scalloped, I think you will too.
The only reason I'd ever opt for the OM-28 is if I started gigging in DADGAD, but that isn't ever going to happen. My 000-28 handles DADGAD very well and I have no issues. I've posted soundclips here of the 000-28 in the past and someone mentioned that it sounded like a jumbo (or something to that effect). |

And it seems i have to buy one of them without trying them both... the nearest place that have only the OM-28 is 800km from where i live...
The point is... and please, consider it as if it was your case... I have two guitars: 1- Martin Graphite II (HPL back and sides, graphite top) I use this one as my workhorse guitar. A full length hpl back and sides, thin bodied guitar equipped with a midi pickup to “allaround works” 2- An australian Maton EBG808 Tommy Emmanuel. Somekind of a om sized guitar that i use mostly for fingerpicking and light strumming, plugged in with the built in AP5 pro pickup (undersaddle pickup and internal microphone blend) So, between the OM-28 or the 000-28 (i will use the winner with the LR Baggs Anthem, that in case of the 000-28 doesn’t come as an option, it has to be put after the purchase, and i will probably void the warranty by drilling any needed holes) wich one would you choose with this scenario? By the way, I am thinking on letting go the Maton for the purpose. Appreciate any help guys! Cheers from Portugal!

I'm primarily a strummer although I've been trying some simple experimenting up the neck....rudimentary stuff. I played the 2017 model....sounds great but the 1-11/16" nut is a little cramped. The 2018 has more finger wiggle room IMO. |

In terms of the strumming power of the 000, I heard that it is a little bit smaller than the OM, but is that so noticeable that could make tou choose the OM over this one? Although they both must be good choices for what i need them. The tone of the two is similar though?

Would love to see Maury or somebody do a comparison video between the two of these guitars.
