I don't post very much but I've found this group to be thoughtful, informative and fun. I hope that it keeps the tone it has while it will undoubtedly mutate and evolve like everything does. My guess is that any passerby would enjoy it.

Imo, the personality of the CF forum has been pretty consistent since inception some years ago. In its early days, there wasn’t a whole lot of participation (many of the CF fans were tending to frequent the now defunct McNichol CF forum and eventually joined here) and there was some discussion that a CF focussed subforum wasn’t necessary. Thankfully, it was allowed the time to mature (even if the regulars haven’t).
This forum is growing as is the range of composite materials and models from the builders. I really believe that this forum has contributed in a positive way toward relative acceptance that composite guitars deserve to considered as serious instruments. The evidence of this is that it is extremely rare for anyone to bash composites as cheap, plastic guitars. In fact, quite the opposite. For some time now, they are often referenced as viable options in the General forum threads. It’s all good. The banter here is lighthearted, well-intended and fun. Keep it up!

It's great to see the activity here, other guitar forums I frequent seem to have 2 new posts a week. I enjoy the humor greatly.

Try an Optima No.6. Classical Guitar, 24 carat gold, natural carbon fiber. Beautiful, even sound good. Life is good, but as my nephew says, getting expensive.
