Default Potomac PVO-18 OM Acoustic Guitar

Made for Eastman. Solid spruce top, Mahogany sides and back. Short scale, 14 fret, 1.75 nut width. Poor man's Eastman. This would make a great beater guitar for the advanced player and a excellent starter guitar.

Mint condition - only two months old. Set up done by Randy Wood Guitars, Bloomingdale, GA. $200 with free shipping.

I use mine for Highstrung/Nashville tuning. Great fit and finish on such an inexpensive axe.

When I got it the strings were crap and the action was very high. Got it professionally set up. Well worth the extra money.

agreed -- I needed to spend a few $$ to set-up mine as well. In that case, $200 is a great price for a solid top acoustic that looks this nice.

The back looks like Rosewood. Are you sure it's Mahogany?

Well, when I bought it, it was advertised as Mahogany but it's possible it was misidentified. Not sure how I would know for sure.

I know for sure ... it's rosewood. And quite a buy at your asking price. Any kind of case with this fine instrument?

Funny, that rosewood looks just about as good (visually) as the rosewood on $3000 Martins and Collings.

Talk about "straight grain"!!

Could it actually be solid Rosewood or is it a laminate?

Unfortunately no case. Good to know it's Rosewood. The sides are definitely laminate.

Someone told me that they are built in the same factory as Silver Creek so maybe that's the case. I can measure it tonight and post it.
