Default NGD - Florescent goodness!!

So I am a sucker for florescent guitars!!! Just got this one and upgraded the pups to SD59 and JB bridge - love the neck on it too!! If I could find one in another color at a reasonable price i would want another(but I don't NEED another guitar haha)

yep, that looks like an '80s guitar that Steve Vai would be proud of . Congrats! Nice pickup choice too.

What's the model?

Wasn't my era. I cringe a bit when it comes to fluorescent guitars and Floyds, but that looks like quite the hair metal machine if that's what you're into!

That was my era, teenager in the 80's.

Went to every concert that started with a "W": Whitesnake, Winger, Warrant.

One of my all time favorite Ibanez guitars too. Love it!

Congrats on the glowing guitar!

I'm no shredder either but those RGs are fine players whatever your style - my black RG350 hangs on the wall ready to be got down at a moment's notice.

Ha! Steve Vai! I never liked the RG until his floral GEM came out. I was all about the RS. I had a Roadster before the RG was introduced. Yes. I'm old. And I used to wear vests without a shirt, a skinny tie, and I had a full afro... On stage only of course

Very nice. I almost purched a reissue that Ibanez released a few years ago. I have a soft spot for shred guitars since they practically play themselves.

Indeed, I ended up with a Jackson King V in a trade recently, I described playing it to my girlfriend as "like putting it on easy mode".

My brother is gaga about those Ibanez guitars. He's discovering that it is hard to get a similar action and feel on any other.

I spent much of my youth on "metal guitars". Definitely made playing vintage style guitars seem much harder to play.

Dang near impossible without going custom. The sound of vintage guitars is now appealing to me, so I go custom to get Ibanez-ish frets and neck dimensions.
