New Original Tune "Into The Valley"
This is a tune that I did with 12 and 6 string guitars. The 12 string is an old Yamaha that I came across and the 6 string is a D-18. They were recorded into an AKG 214C. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I posted this tune a few days ago and realized after posting that I had a harmonic problem in the first part of the song. I was playing a 6th in the melody against a 7th in the harmony and it really sounded horrible. I changed an EMaj7 to an E6 chord and I think it works much better.

Well Done
Well the finished result is very well done. Very good restraint on using the 12 string, works well.

Very nicely played and recorded. I like the flow of the guitars and the stereo image you achieved in this (I listened through headphones). The dual leads were especially nice sounding. Thanks for sharing that here.

I'm a fan. While it carries throughout with a fairly narrow dynamic I like it overall.

Thanks to everybody that checked out the song. I really appreciate all the comments. I agree with the comment about the dynamics. I didn't realize it until I looked at the wavelength and didn't see much variation. I didn't crush it with compression so I think I need to just drop the levels a bit in some of he more quiet parts.

I like it very much. Both guitars working on their own uncluttered .
