It is gorgeous! Helene has a 1970 280SL that was our daily diver back in the mid 90's when I got it for her. Nowadays we use it only a few times a year, but it's well taken care of, so I would have no qualms about driving it across country tomorrow. They are amazing cars!

I had a white 1995 SL 500 for a lil while... fun car and carbon fiber guitar hauler... if I had one then that is.

Man, that 95' SL500 was pure class. And the trunk was huge! You could put three or four McPherson Touing models in there.

The woman in the glasses photo's stepson can... I loaned him a WOOD acoustic to see if he actually want to play before buying one... he switched to an electric.

Car could not play either.

I have a new black E 300. It has an smaller trunk. Only 2 McPhersons could fit in there.

I just picked up 2016 Kia Sorento a couple months ago and had 6 guitars and a couple mandolins in it yesterday and still plenty of room for more... not sure if that is a good thing though..
