First up. Fall Limited 516ce. Also available but not pictured is a 514ce-FLTD
Tasmanian blackwood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, shaded edgeburst body and neck, and Standard 500 Series appointments: ivoroid Century fretboard inlay, ivoroid binding and rosette, Taylor nickel tuners (slot head w/ ivoroid buttons for 12-Fret), 6-mil all-gloss body, faux tortoise pickguard, and Expression System® 2 electronics. Ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.

Fall Limited 714ce

The 714ce-FLTD Fall Limited from Taylor features a beautiful Blackheart Sassafras back and sides with a Sitka Spruce top. The guitar features Advanced Performance bracing (protein glue + side braces). mother-of-pearl Heritage Diamond fretboard inlays, rosewood binding (body, fretboard, soundhole), rosewood top edge trim, back strip and heel cap, abalone rosette outlined in rosewood. The finish is a 6-mil all-gloss body, gloss-finished peghead, Taylor nickel tuners. No pickguard and the new ES-2 System for electronics. It ships in Taylor Deluxe harshell case. Amazing tone and beautiful wood! I'm tempted to just keep this one myself. Better hurry and remove the temptation from me!

I'll be shooting some video on them tomorrow and will post asap. It has a very unique tone. It could be comparable to Koa or Walnut with a spruce top but it really has a tone all of its own. Really warm and sweet sounding midrange. The sassafras seems to emphasis some mid-range frequencies that I haven't heard in many other species of wood. I really like the tone and I am personally having a difficult time not keeping one of these guitars for myself. We only have three and we had to clamor for those. Not many of the sassafras guitars available.
