Double Stuff Oreos?
Who doesn't like them, at least occasionally?
My fave are the double stull vanilla. Problem is that they are no longer double stuffed. We just bought a few bags and they look just like regular Oreos. Last edited by egordon99; 04-14-2024 at 03:43 PM. Reason: Please stay away from politics. |

I don't care for double stuff. Too much stuff for me.

Nope. Proportions of the original are perfect.

If you live in an area that has Trader Joe's grocery stores, you owe it to yourself to try their sandwich cookies. I too thought that Oreos were God's Cookie, then I tried Trader Joe's. I seldom buy them just because if I do, I will eat them all.

I don't count calories, but I try to make the calories count. For beer that means good craft beer, not mass produced swill. For meat that means good BBQ I smoke up myself, not McFattazz or Denny's. And for cookies it's my wife or daughter's homemade cookies, made with real milk, real butter, our own free-range eggs, etc. Not mass produced crap made with palm oil and unpronounceable chemicals.
You can call me a snob - for my part I figure if I'm gonna eat sweets/junk food I'm going for the best quality and taste I can get. I'm not clogging my arteries or expanding my waistline with anything by Hostess, Little Debbie, Kraft or Mondelēz International, Inc.

Original Oreos (I use that term loosely since they changed their stuffing formula from lard to something else years ago) and a glass of whole milk makes what ever issue you’re dealing with no longer important.
There is no better mass produced US cookie. I know. I’ve tried them all.

Guess I'm the weirdo here. I don't like the stuffing but I love the cookie part. So I can sit with a bag of Oreos in my lap, twist several cookies apart, give you all the filled sides and enjoy the crunchy cookies without it. Makes me popular with kids.

I'd settle for a reissue of the "No Sugar Added" Oreos they had for a while. They just stopped production and left us diabetics stranded.

I think the cookies and their packaging have been shrinking for some time. Shrinkflation.
I had to check the package I was eating. Yep, made in Mexico. I, for one, miss Hydrox, the original chocolate sandwich cookie, made here in my hometown. Victim of a confusing name. |

They shrunk up like everything else. The middle got thinner. Now you need to buy the MEGA STUF to actually get what used to be DOUBLE stuff.
