None of the above. None work with that rosewood board. Either go tortoise or white.
Black suit, brown shoes never works.

I thought about this, or black or a parchment/white/cream as well.

Can you think of anyone who uses the other combos?

The blue is defintely unusual. Green pearl might be interesting.

I do kind of agree with Chickee that the black along with the pretty brown/red RW fretboard might not be the best combo.

If not tort, I'd probably go with and aged white, personally.

For that one, I'd be going w/three ply beveled (white/black/white) Aged White Pearloid

I first heard that from comedian George Goebbel on the Tonight Show, hosted by Johnny Carson, way back in the day!!

In todays world, it no longer holds true, lol!

I remember that! He asked Johnny if he had ever felt like life was a tuxedo and he was a pair of brown shoes.

Of what you showed, I like #1 best. But, I'm a fan of tortoise color on a white strat, that's what I have on my Frankenstrat.

I think anything is better than that blue guard though.

Nice guitar!
I love tortoise for acoustic, but for your example, I would choose #3. I LOVE the splashes of blue. JMO. Happy hunting and play on! Jan 🎸
