Which of these 4 pickguards would you choose for this Stratocaster?

None of the above. None work with that rosewood board. Either go tortoise or white.
Black suit, brown shoes never works. fd

That's what I had on it when I bought it and I didn't really care for it. It's just boring to me. It feels it looks very generic and uninspiring. I can't think of anyone who uses that configuration, though I'm sure some due.

The blue is defintely unusual. Green pearl might be interesting. I do kind of agree with Chickee that the black along with the pretty brown/red RW fretboard might not be the best combo. If not tort, I'd probably go with and aged white, personally.

For that one, I'd be going w/three ply beveled (white/black/white) Aged White Pearloid

I remember that! He asked Johnny if he had ever felt like life was a tuxedo and he was a pair of brown shoes.

Of what you showed, I like #1 best. But, I'm a fan of tortoise color on a white strat, that's what I have on my Frankenstrat.
I think anything is better than that blue guard though. |

Nice guitar!
I love tortoise for acoustic, but for your example, I would choose #3. I LOVE the splashes of blue. JMO. Happy hunting and play on! Jan 🎸 |
