Thanks ~ It plays and sounds great - Just like the 2010 CV50's Tele that it "was".. Ha

No buzzing at all.

I lucked out - because I wasn't sure it would sound the same after the surgery..

And I love the new 5 lbs 11 oz weight..

My lightest electric is also the loudest unplugged electric I have. Gibson Les Paul, ES hollowbody series. I mostly just use it at home and use it acoustically, but have gigged with it quite a bit a couple of years ago.

There are however many other hollowbody electrics to choose from, and they'll be your lightest option in general over most any solidbody guitar.

I previously owned two strat-style Ibanez guitars. (What's the plural for that, "Ibani?") Never weighed them, but they were noticeably lighter than various Fender Strats I had/have.

Had a couple heavy Les Pauls (a Gibson and a superior Marquis "lawsuit"), but I'm fortunate because a heavy guitar doesn't bother me. I did notice, though, that both LPs seemed lighter when I was given some nice guitar straps - slightly wider and soft leather vs. those narrow nylon Ernie Ball jobs that tend to dig in.

True, but most are diving ducks! I've owned 4 in my lifetime. One a Custom Shop that killed. However, no more SG's for me.

My newest body comes in at 2 pounds 13 ounces, and that's before control cavity, neck pocket, and bridge block pocket routes. This one is gonna be a lightweight for sure.
