Yes.
I first saw this on the Guitarnoise forum from David Hodges(?)
He was teaching bass walks for beginners on acoustic guitars.
He used "You are my Sunshine" for his example.
Each step of his lesson would add another walk until every chord change had a bass walk while doing alternate bass picking on beats 1 and 3.
It gets busy until there is more note picking than chord strumming.
It is mostly just an exercise for me but for certain songs it can sound really good.
And yes I try to play these songs with my eyes closed as an accuracy exercise with a flatpick.
I hope this makes some type of sense.
